How does payment work?

Once a booking has been completed, it’s time for caregivers to get paid. What exactly does that look like?

Effective Monday, July 3rd 2023, the cutoff for pay periods is Tuesday at 12:00am CST. Payouts are on Fridays at 12:00am CST (late Thursday night).

Pay periods include all hours completed from Tuesday at 12:00am to Monday at 11:59pm. Any hours worked after midnight on Tuesday, including 12:00am - 1:00am, will show up in the next week’s payout.

After processing, it can take up to 5 business days for the funds to show up in your bank account. As you receive more payouts from alto, the payouts should start to show up in your bank account more quickly.

In order to get paid, you need to set up direct deposit through Stripe. To do so, log in to Alto and visit the Account tab. Click “View Your Bank Account Connection.” Make sure to select Independent/Sole Proprietorship.

What if I think there’s an issue with my payout?

Contact us! Reach out to help@findalto.com and we’ll check your payout for you.

Stripe is a third-party business we use to process payments. They are one of the most secure payment processors and are trusted by Amazon, Google, Zoom, and more. When you connect your bank account, we will only ever be able to deposit money into your account - never take any out. Your bank details are safe with Stripe.
